Disconcerting

I find it disconcerting to listen to bhajanai songs as I read books about the horrors of world wars.  Males you wonder where was god when people were torturing one another? Betraying ad coaxing betrayals
Where was god during the Holocaust when people were being experimented on and killed just being who they were. God created man and created among us killers of man. Very disconcerting
Where will god be when and if it all happens again?

Thaipusam 2017

YA blessed and beautiful time.
This time was slightly different. 
1. I was very supportive of saro 's commitment to organisation of thaipusam.
That sound slide I wasn't before. That's not true. Thaipusam has always been close to my heart . It's just overall I'm feeling closer and more supportive of him.

2. I fasted for a month in a very general way that I usually do. Last year I was vegetarian for a month during thaipusam starting Dec 30 2015. And I just stayed vegetarian!  Now it's Feb 2017.  Pleased about tat.
So this year I was vegetarian . Stayed off eggs for a month. More or less - there may have been eggs in some cookies I ate now and then but generally no eggs.
Then I bathed in cold water for a month.
Then I was you know not with saro.  That's quite funny Cos it's usually him fasting and he's fastidious about not touching me. I think it unnecessarily sexualises things.  I was still touching him all to show affection.  Just not you know.. he might are I don't really enjoy you low so it's not much of a sacrifice!  Haha well!!

2. But this time I did something new. I fasted for 8 hours a day. I ate before 10 am and then again after 6 pm. Most days
One day I ate around 11 and then ate again closer to 8pm. And I'm really happy !
Oh and I stayed off chocolates for a week haha! 
The fast went well and the paal kudam went well.  Very happy.

His ban took effect on Friday. 
Today is Wednesday. 
The acting attorney general Sarah Yates has been fired. His stooge has been appointed.
World over people Reacting.  But not all are condemning trump. Many are of course. Canada. France. Germany. But even within these countries their political parties are praising trump.
People are saying ban Muslims world over.
Islam and freedom are incompatible. 
How can they say such things ?? Only because they don't have a single Muslim friend. 
And so it goes. The world is reacting responding
There is this sense of unease and outrage
