she curls around my arm,
a butterfly on a twig
a koala curled around a branch
then she says
" adults fall asleep so quickly!"
later frets about her story telling tomorrow
says she is scared of telling a story to so many people
when I tell her she has done it before she says that was when I was a lot younger and braver! such profound incisive truth!
