Quest for the Perfect Farewell Gift
In desperation, at lunchm U rushed
for the nearest mall.
The only bookstore there a kid's one,
I got her "I Love Mummy".
I almost blushed when I gave it to her,
But
That book brought tears to her eyes,
for being a new mum
was harder than work
and she needed to hear those exact words at that time
So my gift worked better for her
than the poetry books for my poetic friends
and what do you know
we still keep in touch.
