it is to the clear waters of Boracay,
white sandy beaches, narrow
with shoals of fish in the shallows.
Coral reefs just meters from shore
we go by paraw boats,
winged vessels I've never seen before.
We snorkel and dive
to see a world out of this world
Blue starfish,
blue even in blue waters
fish of every colour:
nemo hiding among the red anemone,
purples, greens, yellows, blacks
we go down and
don't want to come back.
At dusk on cue
the sun dips into the sea
against an blood- orange sky
ending our day
on a picture perfect high
Back at home in bed
we still rock up and down
with the waves
of beautiful beautiful
Boracay.
