day 3

the towel prompt

what would my towel say to me

Your questions pretty much left me in a meditative mood all day; I swear I thought really long and hard about what they were fundamentally attempting to ask. Time for a breather as we move from the metaphysical to the mundane.
Special thanks to Aesop for sponsoring prizes today. What this means is that apart from enjoying your poems as they are, I will be looking for those which best fulfil the spirit of the prompt.

THE TOWEL PROMPT
In many ways, your bath towel knows you better than anyone else might. The same could be said of your toothbrush, your loofah, your toilet seat, etc, you get the general idea.
Write a poem from their perspective. What would they say about you? How would they describe you? Can they be trusted?

#UnwashedBonus: They reveal your darkest secrets.
#SqueakyCleanBonus: They make you look/smell/sound/taste good.
#WhoIsYouBonus: Do not use any pronouns in your poem.
